St. Dominic's Grammar School for Girls is an award-winning Catholic grammar school, founded by the Dominican Order in 1870.
In 2016, St. Dominic's achieved the highest exam results of any school in Northern Ireland. A staggering 99% of students achieved A*-C grades at GCSE and 96.5% of students taking their A2 exams achieved A*-C at A level!
Their Principal wanted a new website that would not only show the school's strong academic achievements but reflect the happy, welcoming community of the school, where enduring friendships are built.
What we did
At the start of September 2016 as the Autumn term began, we met the Principal and Website Administrator to discuss designs for a new site. Eight weeks later, just before Halloween, the site was launched, on time and within the agreed budget.
The new site is compatible with tablets and mobiles, replacing their desktop-only site. The new look is designed to make information easier to find, with sections dedicated to parents and pupils, departments and admissions.
In addition to our web design and development services, our photographer was employed to take a range of photo-stories for the website.
